An antique crude, early iron pontil quart scroll whiskey flask from the 1840s or 1850s. Featuring a large iron pontil on the bottom with a dark iron deposit, a crude drippy applied ring lip, and is aqua in color. It is 8 7/8" tall and has two bold emb stars on the front and back. Excellent condition with no chips or damage, only some light internal haze. This was a popular style of whiskey flasks in the saloons and inns from the 1840s-1860s.
